YouTube Inspiration

I get asked a lot who I would recommend for a first timer to watch on YouTube. It's a great question, the problem is I'm into so many different things it can also be a hard one to answer. I'm going to give it a shot however. So for my very first post I'm going to share with you my top 5 "Paper Crafting" YouTube Channels that I feel are a must have in your subscription lists.... in no particular order...

  1. MercyTiara (Tracy)

I am hooked.. there really isn't much else to say than that. Tracy does some amazing things on her channel, my favourite of which is her process videos. She is a design team member for the Scraptastic Club and not only does she share each month what comes in the Scraptastic kits, but she will show you some of the amazing layouts she can get from just one kit.

She has a series of Craft Room videos as well, and updates these whenever something changes. It's fun to see how someone stores their products (I'm not opposed to some scraproom porn, that's for sure) and I've picked up quite a few tips from these. You can view that playlist here - My Scraproom.

She is also a much loved regular on The Paperclipping Roundtable.

She also does the occasional planner video (hello fellow Erin Condren Life Planner lover!)

I am somewhat prone to hunting out her video's first before scrolling through the rest of my subscription list. If you would like to visit Tracy, you can also find her at her blog - MercyTiara

  2. Victoria Marie (Victoria)

This gal makes me laugh... I'm talking laugh out loud, tears running down my leg laugh! I met her through the Scraptastic Facebook Group and I am so grateful she started doing videos. She is down to earth, honest and an all round beautiful person. If we lived in the same country I'd totally be her BFF and drive her crazy coming over all the time.

She does mainly process video's and her work is stunning. I am always truly inspired after watching her videos and she never disappoints.

She has a Facebook Group called Victoria Marie FB Group where I can get lost for hours just in awe of all the talent and inspiration her members share.

  3. Craftybit (Marika)

Marika is just the sweetest person you can ever hope to call a friend. She does the most amazing colouring and makes some simply incredible cards.

I've been fortunate enough to win a few of Marika's cards and I hang them pride of place on my inspiration board. They always make me smile to just look up and see a bit of her shining down on me.

If you would rather visit Marika at her blog and spend hours being totally absorbed into her greatness you can visit her here - Craftybit Creations

  4. Robin Voak (Robin)

For the life of me I cannot remember what Robin's channel was called before she changed it to her name, I think it had Nursing in the title somewhere? Robin is a fun loving mother of 3 who shares her passion through her process video's. Again she works with a lot of Scraptastic Kits and has a fun and friendly approach. I always come away feeling like "I could do that!" which is something I look for in my YouTubers. Some really intimidate me and I feel I'm not good enough or could never achieve the techniques that they're sharing. You won't get that with Robin.

You will also feel more like your a having a cuppa with a good friend than just watching a process video as she talks about her nursing and her family! She's comfortable and relaxed and hilarious! I've laughed and I've cried with Robin, and I just know you will love to watch her next crazy scrapping adventure.

Last, but definitely not least is

  5. Creationsceecee (Catherine)

Entertaining doesn't even cover it! Her "chitchats" are fun to watch, her studio is just amazing (you can see a tour of that here - Art Studio Tour 2014) and her mixed media.... just WOW!

She has a blog that is updated so often that you will never be left wanting more - CeeCee's Creations as well as she does teaching videos for  Scrapbookcentrale and if all that wasn't enough she is also part of Donna Downey Studios Artist Gang
Are you exhausted yet?

Of course there are many, many more amazing YouTubers and I wish I could list them all, but at almost 1000 subscriptions (last count was 998) it would take a month of Sunday's and I could fill just one blog on the subject. I will however re-visit this at a later date and pick another "interest" of mine to list who I watch so stay tuned.

Did I miss your favourite YouTuber? Share in the comments as I'm always after new and exciting people to watch!!

Thanks for joining me on my first blog post for ChelleBB.

Have a wonderful day...
